As part of Pitlochry Festival Theatre's long term “Vision” project, Nicoll Russell Studios were commissioned to explore options for future redevelopment. The client brief asked for various scales of redevelopment to be explored and assessed. Concept proposals focused on improving audience experience; enhancing connectivity with the landscape setting; expanding technical facilities; and providing flexibility and a second performance space to support an enhanced artistic programme.
