Located within the listed Esslemont and MacIntosh building on Union Street, Aberdeen, the former department store has undergone a major transformation to launch The Esslemont Bar & Restaurant on the ground floor, and Mac’s Pizzeria above. Part of the McGinty’s Group portfolio of establishments, the Esslemont in particular takes inspiration from its past, referencing historic motifs and decor throughout with a contemporary twist.
