Morrisons Cold Beer Company, Stirling

The former Post Office at 84 Murray Place, Stirling consists of a two storey stone built Victorian building with a richly detailed façade. The Client recognised the quality of the existing building and its contribution to the local townscape, and sought to enhance this relationship through a series of modest external interventions. The redevelopment creates a restaurant and bar at the Murray Place street level, with the character of the public spaces respecting historic features while playfully introducing the Cold Beer Company’s identity. The front area is redeveloped as a generously proportioned lounge with dedicated bar. All existing historic features have been retained and restored in this area and all new interventions are detailed to respect the restored character of this space.
