New Victoria Hospital

London

The £3.5 million phased improvement scheme of this 35 bed private hospital involved the initial development of an adjoining property to ease parking and traffic congestion. The cladding of an unsightly sub-station created a sign post and projected the new image of the hospital.

This new image involved graphic and interior design which was applied throughout the hospitalís refurbishment to create a revitalised, contemporary environment.

An existing mansion was converted to create a new physiotherapy department with reception facilities and executive offices. Phased development continued with refurbishment of the bedroom wings and conversions to provide CT Scanner and endoscopy suites.

Demolition of an underused wing created space for a new X-Ray and Imaging Department. The Outpatients Department was extended, new Inpatient and Outpatients Receptions provided and a prototype bedroom with ensuite facilities constructed.
