The Orthoworld surgery is housed in a converted Coach House which was built in 1850, and has remained one of Broughty Ferry's most prominent buildings.
Orthoworld Plc is the first UK organisation to acquire and launch sophisticated state of the art Orthodontic Centres throughout the UK. Nicoll Russell Studios were commissioned to convert the old Coach House into a flagship Orthodontic Centre of Excellence, setting new standards for future centres by the company throughout the UK.
The Studios were briefed to create an open plan practice for a minimum of 3 surgeries with potential for future expansion to 6 surgeries if required. The surgery area was based on an American styled open plan layout, which has been used within previous Orthoworld practices in England. The existing character of the building was largely retained and improved where required to make a truly modern, hygienic interior, which upholds Orthoworld's corporate identity.
