Nicoll Russell Studios and St. Andrews University Student's Association have forged a relationship spanning over a decade and have in that time realised a series of projects at the Students Association building organised within six main phases.

These projects include provision and refurbishment of various bars, creation of the Fraser Suite, alterations to the bookshop and entrance and the installation of a new lift to facilitate access for disabled staff and students.

More recently, the Studio has prepared proposals, and successfully negotiated planning consent for a major extension and re-ordering to satisfy the current demands and future aspirations of the University Students Association.
