The Options Centre was developed as a pilot facility for Shell Expro at their Tullos headquarters. The Centre forms an integral part in Shell's "Investors in People" strategy, and offers a centralised information bank to encourage staff to source training and career development opportunities within its international infrastructure.
Designed to be open and approachable, the space is layered by-acid etched information booths to maintain a reassuring degree of discrete privacy.
The booths present a tantalising, dynamic frontage to the public spaces around the Centre. This effect encourages people to progress deeper into the space where they can access displays of training videos, CD's, career magazines or the Centre's staff for confidential advice. The dynamic lines and futuristic mood of the Centre create a sense that the visitor is "going somewhere" and "getting ahead".
