Mardi Gras is one of Dundee's largest and most successful commercial Dance Clubs.

Nicoll Russell Studios have completed a number of projects within this venue from the formation of a new foyer bar and entrance to the creation of a members reception.

The Club utilises contemporary materials and details to create a range of spaces focused on single large dance floor. A variety of levels provide a dynamic volume in which 1200 clubbers can enjoy an atmosphere of hedonistic dance culture.

The main frontage is an abstract composition of materials and simple geometrics, which combine to create a beacon guiding the audience to venue from the adjacent cultural quarter with its range of pubs and restaurants.

This venue was recently purchased by Northern Leisure in a multi-million pound deal.
