Developing the brand identity of the original Oblomov bar/restaurant in Great Western Road, Glasgow, Nicoll Russell Studios have succeeded in providing, within a limited budget and programme a stylish, rich and atmospheric interior. The generous velvet drapes and re-cycled leather furniture set against a background of darkly stained timber, evoke a powerfully convincing sense of well worn Central European luxury.

Exploiting the challenge to provide a functional layout within a long, narrow and difficult site, Nicoll Russell Studios have endeavoured to create a variety of spaces which offer the Client a range in operational flexibility and the customer a range in ambience and mood. This project was featured in the BBC drama "Glasgow Kiss".
