Nicoll Russell Studios were commissioned in 1999 to prepared designs for a 'Cul de Sac' café bar in Aberdeen.

The design solution exploited the long narrow nature of the host building by providing a series of lounge, bar and restaurant spaces.

The relaxed but contemporary interior reinforces the brand values of its sister units in Dundee and Glasgow. Careful use of colour and large expanses of natural stonework succeed to create a comfortable interior, which is rich in style and atmosphere.
